I started working in theatre in high school, don't really remember why; maybe it's where the other geeks were. Anyways, I was a stage manager from the beginning, also worked as a stagehand with Montana TheatreWorks of Bozeman, MT in 1996 and 97.

Moved to Oregon to study theatre at Southern Oregon University in Ashland from 1998 to 2003, meanwhile switching focus to scenic design and painting, because I like to draw and stage management was too stressful. Got a great education in technical theatre and graduated with a BFA in Scenic Design.

Worked a few odd technical jobs after graduating (Oregon Cabaret Theatre, Johnson County Community College Theatre in Overland Park, KS, Cannon Beach Conference Center), then took a break from theatre to get married, start a family, and pursue my other loves: farming, fiber arts, and community.

Now, 5 years and 3 kids later, trying to integrate all my interests at Lunacy (fiber arts? farming?) and it's going rather well. Working in close collaboration with my husband Russ, we've designed/built/painted Lunacy's 3 previous productions, and looking forward to more fun in the future.
